Privacy Policy

MailRadar is operated by Saorsa (saorsa.nl). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under GDPR.

Last updated: April 2026

Your email content

When you send an email to your MailRadar test address, the message is received, parsed, and analysed entirely in memory. We do not write your email content to any database, file system, or persistent storage of any kind.

Once analysis is complete, the raw email is deleted from memory. Your message body, subject line, recipient list, and any attachments are never stored, logged, or transmitted to third parties.

Test results & retention

After analysis, we store the output of your scan: the compliance score, letter grade, and the individual check results (pass / warn / fail per category). This data is what populates your results page.

Retention period

7 days

Test results are automatically and permanently deleted 7 days after the scan completes. No manual intervention is required.

Results are keyed to a random identifier included in your test address. No name, account, or persistent identity is associated with a scan.

Cookies & tracking

MailRadar does not use cookies, local storage for tracking purposes, analytics scripts, session identifiers, or any form of behavioural tracking. There is nothing to consent to and no cookie banner is shown.

Third-party data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party. Real-time blacklist queries (Spamhaus, NiX Spam, etc.) transmit only the sender IP address extracted from your email headers — never the message content itself.

No advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing platforms receive any information derived from your scans.

Your rights under GDPR

MailRadar is operated from the Netherlands and is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. You have the following rights regarding any test results associated with your scan:

  • Right of access

You can request a copy of the test result data stored for any scan you ran.

  • Right to erasure

You can request immediate deletion of any test result before the 7-day automatic expiry.

  • Right to object

You can object to processing at any time. Because we store no personal data beyond scan output, deletion of the result fully satisfies this right.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via saorsa.nl. We will respond within 30 days as required by GDPR Art. 12.
